Love is the Oasis of My Heart
Just Realized that I have been in a different world for a while. Good or bad, this is my choice and my life. I have been looking forward for the future but secretly time just keeps passing me by and I am giving up some of the precious things that could have happened to my life. You are one of them.
I cherish the sweetest things in life we had shared. Whenever I am and whatever I do, I will have you - every one of you - in my heart. Hope you also have a piece of me in your heart.
I am looking forward to the day to see you again. Sooner or later.

Clair de Lune
MoonlightI am going to a concert at Carnegie Hall on thursday, the piano recital of Leon Fleisher. He was once a talented young musician, who was the 1st American to win the Queen Elisabeth Intenational Piano Competition in Belgium, before losing his right hand to focal dystonia at the summit of his career. 40 yrs passed by before he finally regain his control of the right hand after series of BOTOX (botulinum toxin) injection in a NIH-directed research. He won an SfN Advocacy Award last year for his work in raising public awareness about dystonia and performed in one evening at last year's SfN Neuroscience Meeting at DC. How amazing it was to be there and enjoy the music of life!
I bought his 2004 recording "Two Hands", his first "two-handed" recording in 40 yrs, and surprisingly found out he also recorded "Clair de Lune" in this album. So I listened to the song under the moonlight in that special night on Manhattan. Well, something was sinking in again...

P.S. I also highly recommend his recording of Brahms piano concertos No.1 with Cleveland Orchestra and George Szell, one of the classic pieces he and George recorded half a century ago. He was less than 30 then!
